Cloud Nine - Page 1

I've been working on this short comic for a while now as a final project for my second year Illustration class. I'm super happy to be done with it and excited to share it finally.

So just to give a little backstory on this story and the characters, I wanted to create this for 2 reasons:

1. I can never find any good LGBT+ romances set in space/sci-fi genre (If you can recommend any that you've found to be really good, you would have mucho appreciation from this guy)

 2. The character in this story, Cosmo is based off of a boy that I had interacted with in a dream once, and I really liked the dream so I wanted to remember it in a way so I kept on developing different ideas for it. This was maybe three or four years ago so I've been playing with it for a while - this is the current version I have come up with.

Anyway, just to give a short summary on the story you might be interested in reading... Cloud Nine focuses on a boy Kal who lives on Earth, and he gets whisked off into space by a human star soldier named Cosmo. I really just wanted this story to feel like the ultimate romance/escapism/fantasy, and I had fun developing it. So enjoy!
